I've played a few times, but it was years ago, when the first one came out.
Second one had the best online play. First was always really fun with friends because of infinite grenades. =D
Im gonna go with Reach. My friend bought it recently and we've hardly stopped playing it.

The third, just so AWESOME. Reach is great, too.
